North Dakota Babies

I know we've talked about this a million times, but...

what do you use to prepare your homemade baby food?  I used the food processor the other day for carrots, but it seemed like such a waste to put just a few carrots into a HUGE food processor (I even froze some for later, too!)

I was eyeing some coffee grinders for 19.99 today because I've heard that these work well for baby food.

What do you use???

Re: I know we've talked about this a million times, but...

  • We have the beaba babycook (it was a gift) but if we didn't use that we also have a mini food processor. I have also heard good things about a stick blender or immersion blender.

  • I use my Beaba now and I don't even have a baby. It makes yummy applesauce and when I had my surgery I couldn't stomach solid foods for a week and we made all of my meals in it.  It was great!  But I also got mine for $7.99 at Goodwill.
  • I have a mini food processor that I used some at the beginning.  A few months later I got a stick blender and it worked great.
  • I also have the babycook thing.  But I have used a mini food processor and it works good too.
  • I use the beaba baby cook too.
  • So, ladies- is the beaba really that easy to use?  Or is it one of those things that looks easy, but will truly be a PITA?

My cousin says I can borrow hers, but I'm afraid it will break & then I will have to buy her a new one!
