  I usually check it a few times over the course of the day, starting in the shower. I've been guilty of checking my CM at work during the day. Then I usually check it later in the evening when I am home.

  Pretty much this. I always do it more then once a day, because it seems to vary for me.

  I almost *always* check it after going #2, since it pushes CM to the vaginal opening...That way you don't have to go "fishing" for it.  TMI I know.  I know TCOYF mentioned doing it this way.  I usually don't have much after a shower either...GL on the next step, differentiating between Sticky,Creamy and Watery... EW is the easiest.

  I check it every time I go to the bathroom. It usually comes off on the toilet paper when I wipe, so that?s where/how I see it..
