Re: NESTING
It will show up - trust me. I went through a big phase a few weeks ago where I cleaned out every closet in my house (except one - I need DH's help with it)........and then today, I seriously scrubbed every square inch of the kitchen/dining room. Every appliance, every window, every inch of chair rail........it has all been cleaned like never before!
I'm still thinking of tackling the bathroom tonight but that might just have to wait until the morning.
Aside from wanting to get the nursery done, I never nested with my first. I cleaned, but not the "scrub everything til it shines" that you hear about.
This time I only seem to be nesting in the form of shopping so far
I've had no desire to nest now that the nursery is done.
My only concern when I get up is to find my next comfortable position
...which is why I'm hiring someone to scrub the house one good time before LO arrives

Me too!!! I am 31 weeks, Yesturday DH and I literally ripped apart every square in of closet space, built shelves, washed floors, painted room, started organizing... I went from not wanting to move to superman!! lol
No worries, all of a sudden you will get the "itch"
GL!
It will slowly kick in. I didn't feel like doing much at 28 weeks, either.
But I'm guess you'd call what I'm doing nesting - every few days I clean out a closet, organize a cabinet, etc. In a few weeks, I'll work on making and freezing meals.
This weekend it REALLY kicked in. I've been cleaning out everything. (not scrubbing - just getting rid of stuff I haven't used or touched in a couple of years).
Yeah...I'm still waiting for it to kick in. I'm more interested in getting all of the baby things we need (ahem..."need") than cleaning the house.
DH is a better housekeeper than I am, though, so the house is probably cleaner now since he's taken over those duties than they were when I was helping.
Unable to even.
