DD's cry has changed

within the past few days I've noticed that DD's cry has drastically changed...it almost sounds like she is losing her voice.  It is more faint and not as powerful as it has always been.

She is not coughing, not acting different, does not have a fever....she had a rash on thursday but Dr said it was probably heat rash and it gradually went away (she also had her 1st shots a week ago)...

Is this something I should call the Dr for?

  • DS's cry changes every few days, particularly after he has a day or 2 of serious hard crying.  He's just losing his voice.

Ok I think this is all it is for her too...it sounds so sad...I think it's because she has been screaming at night time lately.

Oh yeah, I'm sure that's all it is then.  DS had a very "boy" sounding cry before... deep and powerful.  But once in a while it's very high pitched and raspy and sounds like it's hard to get out.  Similar to how it sounds when I lose my voice. Stick out tongue  So I'm not worried about it!

  • I've noticed DD does this when she's thirsty/needs something to drink (like her throat is dry).
  • This happens to my DS when he's been crying too much.
