Military Families

Before I started lurking here...

I didn't know half the stuff I know now.  I know you guys get sick of talking about tri care or what this base or that base is like.

But if it wasn't for you ladies I would be heading into to this totally blind.  I have learned so much from you guys.  I just want to say Thank You.

Since it is only a month away till DH has to report to Maxwell AFB, I have been lurking and I have found you ladies to be front up about everything.  You don't sugar coat anything.  You tell us about your experience, what you guys have been through and I know I have totally learned from them and I feel so much for comfortable jumping into this then I did a few months ago.

Thanks again Ladies!!!

  • I assume your DH is going into OTS? (correct me if Im wrong). Please let me know if you have any questions about that particular process. MH graduated from Maxwell 3 years ago (yikes, I didnt think it had been that long, time flies). There may be a lot of info available to you about your possible follow on base through some of the women here. MH is a Navigator so I know all about that side of things and we have a ton of Pilot and ABM buddies that went through it with us that we learned a lot from. Feel free to PM me or post back on here if you have any questions.

I know for me, OTS was the hardest thing to go through (and yes, we've been through deployments too), but for me it was that first initial, not knowing whats going on or going to happen, thing that was the hardest. GL and God bless!
