Yes some can, some also can cause weight loss. Keep in mind that a drug that may cause weight gain in one person doesn't necessarily mean your body will handle it the same way. It is also hard to figure out if its a medication when it comes to anti-depressants because in general people that are depressed are more inclined to boredom eating and over eating, and less inclined to exercise. When weight loss occurs after starting a medication it could be a loss of appetite, or choosing healthier meals and not snacking/choosing better snacks, and being more proactive to exercise. If you experience weight gain of more than 10lbs and it is bothersome talk to your doctor and discuss your options.
