How do Luv diapers hold up?

I like them better than huggies but less than pampers...but pretty much they worked for my LO.

I like them a lot, but I find that they stink when dirty much more than other diapers. That being said, I hate Huggies and can't use pampers, so Luvs is an okay choice. I prefer up & up.

Luvs have a funky material on the outside that makes them crunchy sounding, and they're fragranced, so I don't really like them, but I do like them better than Huggies.

Thanks! I'm deciding what brand of diapers to buy next, I just may have to try Up & Up (haven't heard one bad thing about them).

We only use them at night and DD's never pooped at night so I can't comment on their poop worthiness, but in terms of pee they haven't leaked!

My LO doesn't seem to poop at night either. Is that normal? It works for me though, I don't have to worry about his sitting in it all night.

We like them a lot. We tried Up and Up too, but they smell when LO's wet. Luvs are scented but it doesn't bother me that much, and there's no indication that it irritates his skin. They are so much cheaper in bulk at BJ's than the pampers, so they've become our diaper of choice.

We use cloth diapers now but we had LO in disposables for the first 3 weeks, and we liked Luvs. She had a lot of blowouts in Up&Up but not many in Luvs or Pampers. (And I have to add--none at all in cloth!)

They held up really well, no leaks. I still prefer Pampers though because I didn't like the plastic feel of Luvs.

I like Luvs--but I find Up and Up to be about the same, and cheaper, so that is what we use.

(FWIW, I love Pampers but don't want to pay for them, and I absolutely HATE Huggies--worthless.)

Yes! We tried up & up, but they smelled so badly I couldn't take it. Haven't tried Luvs, but love Pampers. For now, we are sticking with what we know works.

Yeah, we LOVE up & up. That is all we use.

We have tried huggies, pampers and luvs and the only diapers that have not leaked and we really like are the Up & Up brand. The Walmart brand has also worked really well for us too. Yay for cheap diapers!

What kind of Huggies are you ladies using that you hate? Just curious and I love them and wouldn't use anything else (well I take that back I am going to try Up & Up), but HATE pampers (they seem to feel wet on the outside with just a little pee).

Please let me know! Just curious if the types are that different with Huggies.

They chaiffed my older dd and gave her a rash. Don't buy a big box until you are sure they will work.

Love Luvs. I used them with DD1 and with this one. They have never leaked and I'm not sure about them feeling plasticky like others have stated. We use newborn size and they feel soft to me and smell just like the pampers swaddlers the hospital gave us. We use pampers in the daytime (just to get rid of the big box we were given) but for night time, we only use Luvs.

All Huggies we received are being exchanged at the store - they leak horribly for us.
