I've been craving them for weeks, but don't want to start a fire outside b/c I don't feel like waiting around for it to go out. So, have you microwaved smores and were they any good?

We are making some tonight . We have also done them in the microwave, Graham cracker and marshmellow for a few seconds, then add chocolate and other Graham. Delicious!!! Enjoy

mmmm yes during my whole pregnancy and they were fantastic. you just can't do it for very long or the graham cracker gets flimsy. We also actually turned on the burners one night and roasted the marshmallows over them...I was desperate
Graham cracker with marshmallow fluff and some chocolate syrup...presto!

oh listen to what me and my sister used to do after we got home from school!!! You'll never go back to regular smores again! We took 2 chocolate chip cookies (chips ahoy worked great) and put a marshmallow sandwiched between them. Then put them in the microwave until the marshmallow gets really big and stop it and it is soooooooo good! I haven't done that since high school! mmmmm.
Re: Has anyone ever microwaved smores?

So, I tried it and it was pretty good. But, holy expanding marshmellow. It was in there for 5 seconds and it was the size of the plate. I also made it on these https://www.amazon.com/Nature-Valley-Granola-Thins-Chocolate/dp/B003ZTCINA.
I recommend using them instead of grahams and chocolate
oh yeah, they expand like crazy. I usually only use about 2/3 of the marshmallow.
Those thins sound great.
Two fabulous variations on the traditional smore.
a) replace the hershey's bar with a reece's peanut butter cup
b) keep the hershey's bar, but put a dab of Peanut Butter on top of it before you add the marshmallow.
OMG Irish, you just gave me the biggest craving ever (for choice A)!!!
