  Not a separate study but the "Big U/S" takes a pretty close look at the 4 chambers of the heart and the aorta/aortic valve. Does this answer your question?

  Hi, I'm not sure because the dr. looked at the heart w/ and w/o doppler and got two completely different results.  I am wondering if the doppler part of it is a typical exam...

  When you say doppler, you mean the colored red and blue blood flow analysis? If yes, then that is a normal part of the exam. Hope that helps!
