Refusing formula. HELP!

DD has not had formula for over 24 hours. I keep offering it to her and she just pushes it away. I don't think she's teeting because when she is she will always take her bedtime and mid-night bottles, but now she won't even do that. I'm not sure what to do because she is eating solids fine, even things like chicken that require more use of her gums. Any Advice? Should I just start trying to transition to milk? She will drink watered down juice out of her sippy and straw cup and also thinking I'll try that too.

We had that happen about 2 weeks ago. I tried everything. One thing I didn't consider until I talked to my pedi was that I probably needed to go up to the Stage 3 nipples because the Stage 2 was just too slow of a flow for her and she was getting frustrated, hence pushing the bottle away. That worked in getting the formula to her faster, but she still wasn't taking what she had been taking before the strike.
So a week ago my pedi said to go ahead and start transitioning her. So she gets 1/2 formula and 1/2 whole milk (a total of 6oz's per bottle) three times a day now. It has worked out much better.
I'd call your pedi and tell her your concerns and see what he/she says. Good luck!
My DD did this a couple of weeks ago. I went out and bought a Born Free sippy cup. She has been drinking better now (not her usual amount, but better than nothing). The way the spout works on the Born Free is she just has to bite or suck a little so the flow is a lot faster.
