Nope, we'll stick with regular Similac until she's on milk. We did the same with with DD1. I honestly think it's just a way for the formula companies to make more money. I spoke to our pedi about it with DD1 and he said that a well balanced diet with milk and a multivitamin will give DD everything she needs and that there is no need to keep her on any form of formula after age 1.

no. i personally think those formulas geared toward LOs over 1 year are a crock. they just want more of your $. pedis rec LOs be on whole milk after 1 y/o. the vitamins and nutrition in whole milk are all they need (in addition to actual food, obviously).
