Babies: 6 - 9 Months

Will you be switching to the "go and grow" formula for older babies? This wasn't on the market when DD1 was a baby.

Re: similac users

  • Nope, we'll stick with regular Similac until she's on milk. We did the same with with DD1. I honestly think it's just a way for the formula companies to make more money. I spoke to our pedi about it with DD1 and he said that a well balanced diet with milk and a multivitamin will give DD everything she needs and that there is no need to keep her on any form of formula after age 1.

    HTH.

  • no. i personally think those formulas geared toward LOs over 1 year are a crock.  they just want more of your $.  pedis rec LOs be on whole milk after 1 y/o.  the vitamins and nutrition in whole milk are all they need (in addition to actual food, obviously).
  • No.  We will just go to whole milk.
