TTC After a Loss 6 Months+

I guess we sort of deserve the poop on the floor...

Poor Scout. She keeps getting herself shut in the guest room (I don't know how she gets the door open in the first place, but it has a tendency to blow shut when the air clicks on).

I'm in the bedroom, M is downstairs, and we heard her barking and whimpering, but we both thought she was in the living room barking at the neighbors who dare to walk in their yard in her eyeline. It took us awhile to figure it out, after yelling "Scout, knock it off!"

Yep, she left us a nice little present for our fifteen minutes or so of neglect.

Talented is one word for it.

    PITFA is another.

  • Bahaha.

We had a complete freakout one time b/c we thought Biscuit escaped the house without us knowing. We could hear her whimpering and crying, but it sounded really distant and faded. After running outside and looking for her and yelling her name and coming back inside to brainstorm b/c we were so distraught that she was stuck somewhere and couldn't get out, we found out that she really was stuck somewhere and couldn't get out.

    Of our closet.

Closets are now the first place to look when we can't find her. Homegirl loves her an enclosed area to den in.

  • awww poor scout!!

lol but I must share my similar situation. A few times we've not been able to find one of the dogs and forgetting I was just in my closet of course that's like the last place we look either that or they get left in the garage when I'm doing laundry....silly pups.

  • Poor Scout.  If she can figure out how to open it to get in, shouldn't she be able to do the same to get out?  I have locked the cats in closets or the basement more times than I can count.  I really really hope I don't do this with a baby...

  • That's so funny!  Except the poo part.  We've had plenty of revenge poos on our floor, and it's not fun!

  • Poor Scout, my dog the other morning was whining like crazy and kept jumping on me. I thought she was just being a pain, I didn't realize she was being so crazy because she had to go outside. So when I didn't get her hint she left me a present.
