Anyone go to doctor for...

Cronic fatigue during pregnancy? I get so tired so fast, I was dozing off just drying my hair this morning. I am afraid I will fall esleep driving or something? I started taking Iron, thinking its anemia but its not helping at all. Any thoughts?

Re: Anyone go to doctor for...

  • It's probably just part of pregnancy. I was severely fatigued up until I was 3 months and then I gradually got my energy back. I would go ahead and ask your doctor about it though. Just to be safe.

The fatigue thing completely sucks. It was the worst symptom of being pregnant for me. If you think about it, you're making a human and I'm sure that takes A LOT of energy.

Have a happy and healthy pregnancy!

  • I had horrible fatigue with my first pregnancy, but it went away around the beginning of the 2nd tri.  Make sure you are eating enough.  Low blood sugar can make it worse.

  • Once you get your blood drawn, you should know whether it has anything to do with anemia or blood sugar, etc. Otherwise, no, it just sucks and it does get better. I was napping twice a day on days that I would run and once if I didn't do much of anything. Work was TORTURE.
