Sunnyside up baby?

So I was told at my 34 wk appointment that LO is head down but facing forward.  Has anyone had expierence with this?  If so what happened?  Was there a way to get the baby to turn?  What is labor like?  This is my first so maybe I'm freaking out for nothing, but it doesn't sound like it's a good thing.

    LO#1 was born sunnyside up--he was wedged down in my pelvis for a long time prior to labor and was too far down to turn. Many babies turn to face back either prior to or during labor. A sunnyside up baby can cause 'back labor' (thoug that wasn't the case for me) and can be more difficult to push out as they can get stuck on the pelvic bone. But...most of the time it causes no problems and isn't worth freaking out over. You'll do great!

    My LO was sunny side up when my water broke!  During delivery he turned himself around though.  The Dr. didn't seem too worried about it.  I did experience back labor.  The nurse had me flip over (they lowered the bottom part of the bed so I was kneeling and that helped with the back labor.  I was able to push like that for about 35 - 40 minutes (I had an epidural too!)

    DS was born sunny side up...he was positioned right when my water broke but he turned...I had terrible back labor until the epidural took effect.  I was so worried about birthing a 10lb baby so I convinced myself I was having DS early (he came 2 weeks early) so that I didn't have a 10lber...well I had a 9lber and my midwife said I would have birthed a 10lb baby the right way easier then I birthed a 9lb baby sunny side up.

    DD #1 was sunnyside up when I was in labor.  You could literally see her turning herself as she came down the birth canal and was born "sideways"...in between facing up and down.

    I'm not going to lie, it was a super long labor...but nothing unmanageable.
