Back from the Bahamas, with a little souvenier!

Well to our surprise, my new husband and I have just found out that we concieved on our honeymoon. We were a little lazy with using protection, but I figured I wasnt ovulating during the time we were gone...WRONG!! I am 4-5 weeks pregnant, and have my first visit on Oct.8th!! I'm a senior level nursing student, and anticipate graduating in may as well!! This is going to be a wild ride!

    Congrats on the pregnancy and marriage!!!  I love hearing people conceiving on their honeymoon!  Good luck with school and being pg!  I'm a grad student as well and am not sure what I will do next semester, maybe only take one class and make up over the summer.

    Thanks! I told my parents and grandmother last night, so I feel a little relieved... We're telling his mother next week, and then We probably won't tell anyone else until after we go for the u/s and 9-10 weeks.

    Some things you might be interested in...

    We have a blog going with posts about what's going on on the board, who the May mommas are and when they're due, our May Flower/Momma badges, it will eventually have our weekly bump pics posted, and links to our GTKY threads. If you're interested in joining simply PM meimsx with your e-mail address and she will send you an invite.

    At some point down the road we will also be starting a weekly thread where we can post our bump pictures and check-in with everyone. So keep an eye out for that as well!

    Hi! We just found out we're pregnant and due May 11, 2011. We've been trying for over a year, and finally got pregnant after our second round of IUI. We are so excited but terrified too!!

    I'm also interested in joining the May mommas club, but unlike the other members, I cannot figure out how to PM. I did a search for meimsx but could not find that name. Could you please tell me how to get the invite for the group? Thanks so much!!

    Congrats! I just graduated nursing school a year ago, I can't imagine myself doing it pregnant, but you will do great!
