Sweaty baby?

Is everyone's baby all sweaty when they sleep in their crib? We have the waterproof ultimate crib sheet, which I slept with right before she was born so I know it is hot. The mattress underneath is covered in some kind of plastic-y waterproof material too so I imagine that would make her sweat also if i took out the other sheet. Anybody have some magical non-sweaty crib bedding?

Hmm... I just use a regular organic knit crib sheet and Mari doesn't seem to sweat. I wrap her like a burrito still though, but I also keep our apt at sub zero temps. She's in long-sleeve footsie PJs. Maybe Briley's room is too hot?

I know my younger nephew (5 months) can get pretty sweaty. My SIL thinks it may be the same things you mentioned. He even gets sweaty in his car seat and she thinks it may partially be due to the fact that it's not a really breathable fabric.

I tried to tell DH her room is too hot, but he doesn't want the air cooler Sad

. We stopped swaddling partially because she was so sweaty, even in just a diaper and a muslin blanket.
