Do you say the sleep period begins when they drift off or after they finish eating?
Just curious... I usually call it when he is done eating. But here lately, he falls asleep, finishes the bottle, I rock him for about 15min and about 5min after I lay him down he wakes up, so that's not a long nap at all...
Re: When do you call it?
Do you have DC in clinical trials for narcolepsy?
OP, do you stay at home?
:snicker:
When he is done eating. I can tell when he has fallen asleep on the boob. At that point, it's time to wake him to eat more, or put him down in his crib. Lately though, he rarely ever falls asleep eating anymore. I think he is finding himself more comfortable in his crib sleeping.
I wouldn't worry about all that, but I guess the way i do it, is as soon as LO is laying down, in her crib, sleeping on her own
And actually, now that i'm thinking about it, I don't even "record" the time in my head until after I've put her down, left her room and gone and looked at a clock somewhere else in the house (doing pickup/tidying/chores as I go) so sometimes she's asleep for a while before I check a clock and if the clock says 8:15 for example, I'm going to be like "LO went down at 8 ish).
