My ridiculous OWT grid

DH weight gain - Girl

Weight in face - Boy

Boob size discrepancy - Boy

pendant - Boy

Acne - Girl

"Gut Feeling" - Boy

Chinese Chart - Boy

Dreams - Girl

Random "Old Mayan Tale" - Girl

 

So that's 7 votes for Girl and 6 for Boy.  I should maybe do an intelligender just to even things out.  Or does "ultrasound showing a penis" make it even at 7 votes each?

    Hilarious.  I am stealing this to send to my grandmother who wants to know if we're "sure it's a boy".

    How about the old "everyone I know told me it's a ___" owt? I actually had someone tell me to not waste my money on gender neutral items because they just know I am having a girl. Hmmm...ok?

    I've been keeping this since the beginning.  I actually ranted about old wives tales in my FFFC.  People get really worked up.

    My coworker tried to give me a bunch of his daughter's clothes because he's "positive" it's a girl "no matter what the ultrasound says."  some people are just THAT sure...

    I think I posted something like this when we found out we were having a girl.  I think the only OWTs that turned out true was the heart rate and the Chinese gender chart. 

    I didn't even try a lot of the other ones (wedding ring on a string etc...) 

    I think I'm carrying low (but don't really know since I'm short anyway) 

    I crave sweet some days and salty the next,

    DH has lost weight because he did a 1/2 ironman triathlon this year and worked out like a mad man,

    my boobs are nice and even and haven't really exploded,

    had acne in 1st tri but has cleared up nicely in 2nd (whatever that means),

    no gender dreams just zombie and other weird non-baby dreams,

    and no gut feelings just information from Sizing Up Sperm and knowing when we had sex versus when we conceived.  We had sex, DH went out of town and based on my 7 week u/s we must have conceived at least 3 days after he left.  Boy sperm swims faster, girl sperm lives longer in tubes.

    I give up trying to get a ticker.  I have a DD that is 2.5 years old and is awesome.  Maybe I'll add a quote to distinguish myself.  Hmmm.  How about...

    Yeah, I had a lady who worked in the store we were Christmas shopping in ask me if it was a boy. I told her "No, it's a girl." She told me that I should change my doctors because they were wrong. "That is a boy! I'm never wrong!" I didn't realize people had x-ray vision and could see a penis on my little girl. 

    I was half tempted (if it weren't for the nasty cold/flu season) to go back to the mall with my DAUGHTER and shove it in her face. 

    Needless to say, I didn't buy anything from there either. :P

    I heard the best OWT the other day.

    Apparently if you take a standard issue nickel, breathe on it twice and toss it over your RIGHT shoulder, if it lands heads up it'll be a boy!*

    *broc's magic gender tracker is accurate 50% of the time.

    These are the ones I've done. Almost all of them say girl, but the presence of a penis on the ultrasound says otherwise.

    Heartrate - very high: girl

    Chinese gender chart: girl

    Carrying - very low: boy

    Cravings - sweet: girl

    Morning Sickness during 1st tri - yes: girl

    Mayan legend: girl

    Acne - yes: girl
