I just can't picture it. Last time I wore leggings was the early 90's in middle school. I can't get my head around how I would wear them now.
And where do you wear them? I've never seen anyone wear them to work here.
I think I just don't like my legs enough to want to show them off in leggings.

pretty much this.
i love leggings u can wear them with any long shirt n some flats or nic sandals.. just make sure the shrit covers ur buttocks ..
I can extend my summer wardrobe exponentially with leggings. I pair them with a lot of cotton dresses I have. Once it gets even colder, I will layer and put on a cardigan or sweater over the dress. Sounds kinda funky, but it works. You just have to play around with your clothes and see what looks good.
I also wear them with tunics. I love me some leggings- they are uber comfortable. I would have to agree with one of the PP's though- make sure you always wear them with something that covers your bottom! No one likes to see a lady with a camel toe
I plan to wear them with a longer sweater or shirt, like a tunic. I have found a couple and hope that more come out in the stores as the weather gets colder. I'll wear them with my uggs, knee high boots 'riding' type boots or these ankle ones I found at Target https://www.target.com/Xhilaration-Kameel-Suede-Ruffle-Boots/dp/B0039JA70W/ref=sc_pd_gwvub_2_title
I'm not sure how much I'd wear this trend if I wasn't pregnant but it seems like it will be really comfortable for being large in the winter!
I just posted on my maternity fashion blog about this very topic today! (See link in signature if you care to peruse pics). For years, I have been anti-leggings, but pregnancy has me singing a very different tune. I'm wearing "jeggings" today (jeans + leggings), something I never thought I'd do...and I'm loving them, given that my skinny jeans are a distant memory at this point in time.
Its already been said - make sure your behind is covered. Long cardigans, sweater dresses tunics, wraps, extra-long tees, etc. all pair well with leggings. Proportion is key - too much tightness on top can turn the outfit into a unitard, and unless you are a member of Cirque de Soleil, no one wants to buy a ticket to that show.
Exactly!
Exactly. I wear them under summer dresses with knee high boots, so I guess I use them more like tights than as pants. Perfect for extending the life of my summer maternity clothes.
