Saturday. We're having a lunch after and a supper later that day with just family and a few friends. I wouldn't say it's a party though I've heard of people who do have aParty with cake and all. I'm not sure about ages though. I think it's customary to have it done ASAP though.
our daughter will be just over 11 weeks. i don't think there is a specific time you have to pick. also, we are having a party. we are putting tents up in our backyard and just having it our house.
DS will be 2 months when he is baptized. We are having a get together with cake and luncheon food afterwards for about 25 people. The luncheon is traditional in my family so we are doing it but not everyone does.
Our plan is to do it at the end of Oct or beginning of Nov. We will just do a lunch type thing at a restaurant afterwards. My house is not big enough or designed well for many people...and I don't have to cook!

Our son will be about 11 weeks. We officially invited our parents and grandparents, our sibings and their kids. We also casually invited my dad's bros and sisters because it is close to where they live and in the church they grew up in. I am serving a light lunch after the service in the church basement (don't want to clean my house). Just turkey sandwiches, cheesy hashbrowns, fruit and cupcakes. My hubby is being baptized the same day, because he wasn't as a child.
