4 dogs, 1 baby and 300 miles

am I crazy?  We are going to my nephew's 1st birthday party this weekend.  We are driving about 300 miles, and we have 4 dogs (two large, two small).  We are leaving after work so that DD will sleep thru the ride.  The small dogs will be on my lap, and the big dogs will be in the very back of the SUV.

sigh.  i know this is going to be miserable.  but we don't have anyone to take care of them, and I don't want to pay for boarding.

    Not quite the same, but we moved cross-country (2400 miles) with a 5 month old and 2 cats.  It wasn't easy but totally doable. 

    You will be fine. but I don't envy you 300 miles of dog smell. :-)

    I love my dogs and hate boarding them, but I don't know, I don't think I could handle that...GL!
