Babies: 0 - 3 Months

Do you miss being pregnant?

I think the only thing I miss about it is knowing that this was my last pregnancy, and I won't go through the little things every day that I got used to (the little kicks, jabs, the baby sticking his butt up in the air making a weird dent in my stomach).

I won't miss my (still) swollen feet, shirts and shorts not fitting, etc.

  • Never thought I would say this but I miss it when I see my friends who are pregnant!!!  Do NOT miss the first tri however!!

  • For most of my pregnancy I was pretty unhappy (14 weeks of daily vomitting, 4 weeks of bed rest, general swolleness the entire time) but I really do miss it. And flame away but I can't wait to experience it all again!

  • I did at first- like the first week and a half, but now it seems like a distant memory.

  • I miss the solid knowledge that he is safe inside me, knowing I don't have to worry about him (I had a truly blessed pregnancy, I was the pregnant woman everyone hates until 36 weeks)... but those last 4 weeks were hell, and that's what I remember right now, so, not so much with the missing pregnancy. lol.

  • YES!!  I miss being pregnant sooo much!  I want to get pregnant again as soon as I can, but I am EBFing so it's pretty unlikely I'll be fertile again until after Seth's first birthday.  It's worth it to BF though, I think.  But I'm seriously looking forward to having another baby :)
  • I am enjoying my little one. I do not want to miss out on her first year puking for 4 months.
  • Nope, I don't miss being pregnant!  Maybe it's to fresh of a memory but it's fine w/ me that it will be a couple years before I have to do it again.  I'm looking forward to having another baby someday but not the pregnancy, if that makes sense:)
  • Parts of it, yes.
I enjoyed 2nd tri and the begining of 3rd tri, but do not miss 1st tri illness/bloat and end of 3rd tri swelling and discomfort and heaviness.

I really miss feeling kicks though. That was the best. : )

  • HECK NO. I am considering adopting my next child. :)

  • Do I miss it???

  • I was a pretty miserable pregnant lady, but I did love my big ol' belly and feeling her move

  • I do miss it.  It amazes me that I have already forgotten what the kicks and movements felt like.
  • I definately miss it. I loved being pregnant...I never got far enough along to be sick of it. I hope to do it again one day and go a whole 40 weeks to experience the whole thing. I really feel like I missed out on a regular pregnancy/birth experience.
  • I knew well before I gave birth that I was going to miss being pregnant. DH joked that I had prepartum depression. I was blessed with a really good pregnancy. I stayed active and never really had any aches or pains. In fact I kept waiting for it to start getting uncomfortable but it never did. What are the odds that that will happen again? Pretty slim I should think.
  • NO WAY do I miss being pregnant. It will be a long long time before I'm willing to consider having a second one.

  • No freaking way! ?I had a really rough pregnancy... but I do miss the security of sheltering him from the world and protecting him within me. That I miss.

  • I miss the first moment I found out I was pregnant, the first ultrasound, the first kick, the first baby bump...all of those "first-time" feelings.  I absolutley loved being pregnant weeks 15-32 (haha)!

  • I absolutely miss being pregnant. DH & I were going to wait about 4 years until we try again...but I've convinced him that we should try again in 2 years. I miss the whole experience.
  • I miss being pregnant even though when i was i couldn't wait not to be. I miss the excitement and the attention and the kicks.

  • I had a near-perfect pregnancy.  My biggest complaint was some back pain towards the end.  I miss having her with me at all times, feeling the kicks and full night's sleep.

  • NO. My pregnancies were pretty easy, but I didn't enjoy it. All I will miss are the little kicks and rolls and not having AF.

  • Not at ALL!! I had a great pregnancy but I don't miss it. I really wish babies came by stork!

  • I do!! I miss everything- my growing belly, feeling her move, the anticipation & excitement, getting ready to bring her home, the attention.  I also miss the labor and delivery! Even though it was not the most comfortable experience, it was the best day ever!
