New Britax Carseats

Has anyone purchased the redesigned Britax seats? We are thinking about getting a Marathon 70, but I wanted to get other people's thoughts before we did. I do have a specific question, are the shoulder straps connected underneath the seat or pad? MIL bought a Recaro Como and the harness straps are not connected so you have to loosen and tighten the harness for each use. We have a First Years True Fit seat for one car and you can make one side larger to get DD in then pull the other side to get her the rest of the way in. Hope this makes sense, I am not great at describing this feature!

    I just got the Britax Blvd 70.  So far DS likes it - it seems to be very comfortable for him.  My main concern was the crotch strap being adjustable (which it is).  I am not sure if I understand your question.  I do loosen the straps just a bit to get him in and out.

    maybe I'm wrong, but this is pretty standard for all car seats...we always loosen the straps to get him out and tighten them up when we put him in. (we have the Britax Marathon)

    We just got our Boulevard CS 70 and the shoulder straps are connected, meaning you don't have to loosen them individually, when you pull one out they both do. So far DS likes it, DH has the previous version of the Boulevard CS and the straps work the same way.
