Recommend your shopping cart cover

I think DD is ready for one- has been sitting up unassisted for a month now...

TIA!!

Re: Recommend your shopping cart cover

  • i used my floppy seat for the first time today and got 2 compliments on it :)  It's pretty good - I like it.  I still prefer baby wearing when I shop but DS had fun playing in the cart while he rode around.

  • oh and I'm looking for one that works on highchairs too! thanks :)
  • I have the black & cream toile Infantino cover and LOVE it! It's not too bulky but covers everything and offers a little padding. I got it at TJ Maxx for like $15 too!
  • The Infantino works on all kinds of high chairs too!
  • I just bought one from BRU made from Boppy.  I bought it instead of the other one they had because it was $10 cheaper.  I had registered and gotten the Eddie Bauer shopping cart cover from a baby shower but I it didn't work for highchairs.

  • I have an infantino one I picked up at a discount store. It works well although I don't think the straps go tight enough so I have to push very gently.

  • floppy seat is a little big in wooden high chair but it works okay
  • I have the floppy seat too and love it!  It works great for us in the shopping carts and the highchair.  We have gotten a lot of compliments on it too because it's so cute!
  • my recommendation is to not get one.  I have a great one but honestly it's a pain and we maybe used it 5 times.  Maybe b/c I wear DD when we shop most of the time but it was not worth the hassle.  I just wipe down high chairs and carts.
  • Just marking this thread since I'll be making the same purchase soon.  Thanks for everyone's input.

  • I LOVE my Kozy Pal. She custom makes them online and they are very padded and cool.?

  • I have a Buggy Bagg (https://www.buggybaggs.com/) that I got on clearance at BRU last fall. I love it! It even has a pillow which is great to help prop DD up when she gets wobbly. It has a ton of padding, which makes it way too bulky for a restaurant highchair, but I just bought this: https://tinyurl.com/47oyd4 which fits really well in my diaper bag. I know a lot of people wouldn't want two separate products, but it works for me.
  • A second recommendation for the buggy bag here.  I love that it has loops to secure toys/bottles and pockets to put diapers/wipe case in.

It zips up to look kinda like a duffle bag, and so I don't really need to carry the diaper bag into the store with me at that point.  Just that self-contained shopping cart seat with the stuff that I keep inside.

We have used it for high chairs, but I agree that it is a little bulky.  In a pinch it will do, but we have a separate product for that.
