in January 2011 Moms
get your nails done. Not jsut painted but with the acrylic/solar nails? Im 21 weeks pregnant and didnt know if the chemicals are ok to be around or what. What do you think?     TIA

    The info my OB's office gave me says that it's fine as long as you are in a well-ventilated area.

    It's fine as long as you're giving out back scratches afterward Smile my puppies LOVE me on the rare occasion I have acrylics.  As pp said, you're fine as long as it's well ventilated.  If you start to feel woozy at all just tell them you need a quick breath of fresh air and have them finish when you feel better, but hopefully it's very well ventilated and you won't have any problems.

    I'd also try to go first-thing in the morning, before the fumes build up inside the shop.

    I got my nails done before I became pregnant and I still get them done.  Just like people said.  Make sure that it is well ventilated.

    Right? I almost want to make my husband go get them, back scratches from him are just a tease!  He has hardly any nails at all...stupid mechanic farmer hands...grumble grumble. Stick out tongue
