Crafty Mommas: Letter G?

So we've been doing a letter per week and doing crafts to go along with it. But I'm planning ahead for letter "G" and I'm pretty stumped. I'm having a hard time coming up with some fun things for her to do. She LOVES giraffes so I'm trying to figure out something with those. Otherwise, no clue. And I usually do a snack too but have no clue there either...any help?????

Also, how do you link something in your siggy? Is there a code? TIA!!!

Re: Crafty Mommas: Letter G?

  • Grapes for snack.  Gelatin.  You could even do the jello wigglers and cut out in the letter G or G animals like a giraffe, 'gator, etc.

You can always do a cutout of the letter G or a giraffe (in a yellow) and do brown cutouts in the shape of the spots of a giraffe and let her glue them on.

ETA:  Along with the grape thing, you could paste a bunch of purple puffballs to make a grape bunch.  You could also so a glittery G.

  • G is for garden. You can make one (there's adorable veggies in Read2Me's blog that would be great for this) and then for lunch serve food in flower pots (I have mini silicone ones from Michael's that would work well) or otherwise make it look like a garden. There's also adorable garden cupcakes in the Hello, Cupcake book.

Grape (make prints using real grapes, or use anything round as a stamp to make a bunch of grapes)

Grass (paint with real grass, use Easter fake grass as part of a colllage) and make grass in your meal by lining up green beans

For giraffe, you could cut out a large giraffe from a piece of orange paper. Then, on a paper towel tube, stick foam pieces cut like the giraffe's shapes. Roll the tube through brown paint and then roll onto the giraffe to make its spots. You can also do this with a real rolling pin, but I always cover mine in foil first so it doesn't get paint on it.

A few others that come to mind:
    Giant
    Gross
    Green
    Gym
    Goat
