Fall!!

Took this from another board. I love Fall and don't have "traditions" to say, but I would love to know what some are around the neighborhood.

What are/or will be your Fall tradtions?

Re: Fall!!

  • My tradition is to get as many Starbucks Pumpkin Spice Lattes as possible.  LOL.  Only partially kidding...

We go to Blake's Big Farm cider mill each year, take the hay ride and make a day of it.  I LOVE Fall!  We typically go on a hayride/bonfire on my dad's cousin's farm up near Lapeer each October, but I'm not sure about this year since I'll be about 36 weeks pregnant by that time!

  • I second the pumpkin spice lattes! lol

We also go to Blakes. This year we want to go to a corn roast. Also a stop at Yates at some point in the season.

Some traditions I want to start with Lexi (some we already do)- pick our own pumpkins, carving pumpkins, Pick apples, making fall foods (zucchini/banana/pumpkin breads), go watch cider being made,

  • DS and I have created a tradition of pumpkin picking each year, and also visiting Yates Cider Mill.  When he's a little older, I'd like to take him to Blakes...but right now it's a hike and working around his nap only gives us a limited time there.
