I don't have time or energy for ebay or CL right now, and have a tons of kids clothing, toys and bedding I'd like to sell. Most the clothing has never been worn. 1/2 still has tags.
Have you ever consigned? What's for favorite consignment shop?
Someone on my mom's group board just posted this if you can hold out until the end of October:
I'm proud to announce that I am opening a "Kid to Kid" resale shop in the Galleria area. We will be paying out cash for kids stuff (clothes, toys, books, maternity, equipment) hopefully around the end of October. Our grand opening would follow about 2 months later once the store is full - sometime in December.
We are Kid to Kid's 85th store and will be located at 1737 Post Oak Blvd. at the intersection of San Felipe. Our temporary banner is up in the window, but we are back in the corner next to Luby's facing Post Oak. If you're unsure exactly where it is, it's the shopping center with the CPK, Pinto Ranch, Masraff's, Zadok, and of course, Five Guys Burgers!

Brandi -- you should consign it at the Just Between Friends Sale. It's on September 24th - 26th at the First United MC at Beltway/Westpark! Super easy -- you decide the price, and you can print our your labels from their website.
I like The Children's Collection in Bellaire (intersection of Bellaire Blvd. and Bissonnet). The lady that owns it and works there most of the time is a little kooky and talkative, but I like that the store isn't overly crowded and junky like consignment shops tend to be.

I agree! I went to the JBF sale in Spring right before T was born. I went to the pre-sale for 1st time moms and it was insane! People were buying everything in sight! That is definetely how I will get rid of all our baby stuff once we are done with it.

How do I get more info... I've got a ton of stuff? Do I actually have to be a the sale?
A week or so ago someone on here mentioned a place called Crayons on Westheimer, I think it's near Hwy 6. I haven't been yet, but I made a mental note to go!
My big boy is bounding towards 4! Baby brother coming in October!

Crayons on Hwy 6 is amazing - so helpful, really large and a huge selection. I haven't sold there (my first son is 7) but I am buying there for the new baby and was so impressed with the customer service. They also check all incoming products for recalls so I feel safer purchasing there.
I work near the Crayon's resale shop, and while the store is big, i thought that the selection of clothes wasnt that great and the prices to me seemed high for resale. I have also been to the Lollipop resale store in pearland, and they have way too much stuff fof the size of the store, but they had a lot of clothes and in my opinion they were reasonably priced. I know if you sell stuff with crayons, you get 50% of what it sells for and at the just between friends sale, you get 65%, 70% if you volunteer. I
