Teething ?

When your LO is/was teething, when do you give Tylenol? When they have a temp? When they seem uncomfortable? Never?
Do you use Hylands teething tablets? Any other remedies?
I tried frozen cantaloupe in a mesh teether but I think it was too cold, but I'm going to try that again tomorrow. We have been having some sleepless nights, and DH says he can feel several teeth. My poor baby.

You gals might think this is crazy because I did before I heard it from "the horse's mouth" but....my ped says to use grain alcohol. He said it is safer and more natural than any of the over-the-counter crap you can buy. He said it just gets a bad rap because adults abuse it, unfortunately. We have used vodka with Hayden a few times (just a dab on a swab). Not only does it soothe the gums, but it relaxes her a bit (just enough to take the edge off). We also use the Hyland's teething tablets but I'm not convinced one way or the other about those. I def don't double-up on any two meds at once, though.
