My insurance says they do cover it, but when I called to schedule the appointment, the nurse said I was lucky to have it covered. Just curious what others went through.

Our insurance covers all ultrasounds that are listed as medically necessary. The MFM that I went to see for my NT Scan does all their ultrasounds as medically necessary, so it was covered. Had it not been covered, it would have been $540

Yes. But we are really lucky. Everything is covered for us... we pay a $20 copay at every office visit, and only pay a $500 copay for L&D... and that's all we ever pay OOP.
