A few years ago Massachusetts supermarket chains aggressivly spent 2.8 million dollars on a marketing and public relations effort for a campaign to get more liquor licences in their outlets. They focused on the benefits to consumers.Basicly its a battle between small ma and pa liquor stores and big corporations. The liquor stores only raised $500,000 to fight against the big guys. 2 questions to respond to:
1.What are the benefits of liquor stores selling more product in their stores?2.What kind of strategy would you develop for the liquor store group to counter the big chains?
You should first do some outside research before you respond. This is not a group effort right now.It is an individual assignment. You have September 19 th.
