What are some of the more "youneek" spellings you've seen of names.
Last night I posted the Teighlor (aka Taylor)
I've seen Rhyan (Ryan)
Rhiley (Riley)
Those are all I can think of right now. What are some that you've heard?
(I've been asking some young moms about unique spellings and I guess they just LOVE them, saying that it makes their child "unique" and "different" and it helps them stand out. yea.........ok, if you think so...or it makes you look like a complete FOOL)

Just found this one on the net. Some one posted a comment about unique name spellings -
"I spelled Jackie "Jaqueey" I have never seen that. He goes by Jack though."

My BFF's daughter's middle name is Righlei (Riley), her first name is normal though.
My niece's name is Kamilia (Camellia).
My friend's name is Rhosyn (pronunced ross-in), her brother is Rhys (Reese) (they are from Wales though).
Rhys is the proper masculine and original Welsh spelling of the name.
People from my high school love to do this with their kids. Ex:

i am a victim of the wrong spelling. my name is Jaime. i know it is more commen now, but growing up was difficult.
my DDs name is Kennedi, which i dont think is that bad. ive realized the error of my ways, and i know she will take it out on me later. paybacks are a pain. i have also seen it spelled Kennady, and Kennadee.
when it came to naming my son, my H wanted to name him Jaxon. i refused and spelled it the right way.
My mother once saw Lisa spelled, Leighsah. I think that's just cruel and unusal punishment.
I had a student last year who's name was Alicia spelled, Alyciea.
And let's not forget another student named Kyleigha (Kie-lee-ah). I have another student named Lynnze (she said her mom wanted to spell it correctly, but her dad won out on the unique spelling).
I recently saw a birth announcement for a baby named Izzykel (Ezekial).
Oh, I know. I was just showing how some people go with a theme, like "RH" being the begining of the name and that is why they choose that spelling.

Names that my DH and I like are Erik and Anja (anya). They are spelled uniquely here but he is from Norway and they are more commonly spelled that way there.
But I like that they are different
I have started to see Logan to be used for girls in my area, but spelled with an "h" to signal girl. I must be behind the times...I thought Logan is/was(?!) a boy's name.
