My name is Paige, and as the previous poster suggested, I am a child of the 80s I hate my middle name (Gillian, pronounced with a hard "g") but I do think it needs a longer (at least 2-3 syllable) middle name. It does go with Avery.
Yup, I think it goes with Avery. DD's mn is Paige, and it was once considered for a first name. We thought about Noelle or Nicole for a mn. And I agree about it needing a longer mn.
I'm not a fan of many one syllable names as first names. They just seem short and choppy to me, and when I'm saying the name a few hundred times a day, I prefer for it to flow better.
It does also seem a little dated to me. I like it better as a middle name.

All of that said, I do think it goes well with Avery.

Paige and Avery go together very well.
I'm totally missing everyone's love of the name Paige, but clearly most people think it's very cute and feminine. I'm the odd-woman-out.
