Bizarro names

Ok, I usually just lurk here, but I had to throw this out there...

My husband and I are both middle school teachers.  This year he has a student named J'Hennesy Sir Thomas.  Yes folks, as if J'Hennesy wasn't bad enough, his mother used SIR THOMAS as his middle name.  Because Thomas isn't classy enough.

And I thought the kids I had last year named Chardonae (girl), Cashmere (boy) and Porsche (girl) were interesting... I think some mommies might be trying to create a luxury brand image.

Is anyone else seeing this trend?
