I gave DD carrots last night and she chowed an ounce and seemed to want more. How much are you feeding your LO at a time and how often throughout the day? Thanks!
My LO eats three solid food meals a day. For example this morning she ate a whole container of bananas and part of an apples. Then at day care she eats about the same. Then at dinner she will usually eat the #2 size of sweet potatoes, etc. or I will give her the #1 size of veggies with a little bit of fruit. She will also always drink at least 4 oz. of formula every meal if not more. She is my little piggy! Dr. said it is OK to feed her till she is full. It has really made her sleep well at night and we hardly have any feedings in between.

Oh wow! DD is eating about 30 oz. a day of formula and seems satisfied with that. She is in the 97th perc. for weight so I don't want to give her too much either lol.

Woah. DD eats 30 oz a DAY and is happy with that! 40 oz at every meal seems.... a lot.

DS is five months old and eats solids once a day (dinner) right now. We're going to start doing twice (dinner and lunch) next week as he gets fussy at day care when the other kid is eating lunch and he can't have any. He only eats 25-30 oz. of formula a day.
SORRY my bad, i meant 4 ounces of formula NOT 40 that was a typo!!!!

DD eats three meals a day. I moved her up to stage 2's, last week because she was consistently finishing the whole container of stage 1's at every meal and opening her mouth for more.
Breakfast is a container of fruit and some oatmeal, lunch is a container of veggie and sometimes a fruit if she still seems very hungry and dinner is a container of veggie.
She also drinks three 8 oz bottles a day (24 oz total).
DD eats about 30 ounces of formula per day, and then eats one size one container of a veggie at night. Currently we're on Squash. My food plan has been this:
We did one feeding of sweet potatoes each night for a week
then one feeding of carrots each night for a week
now one feeding of squash each night for a week
on Saturday I'll give her peaches in the AM, and then one of the three veggies she's already had at night. Do this for a week.
Then I'll do bananas in the AM and veggies at night.
Then I'll do apples in the AM and veggies at night.
Then, when I'm done with all the orange/yellow veggies/fruits, I'll do a fruit in the AM for breakfast, and then a veggie at lunch time and then in the evening start doing the green veggies.
In a few days (Saturday) she'll be on 2 meals a day, 3 weeks later she'll be up to 3.
