TTC After a Loss

health/fitness checkin.

Hi Girls. 

 How did we do over the weekend and early this week?  This is my first day back to the gym since last week b/c my zumba instructor was away for most of the week.  IT was HOT! walked there and back but no toning class :(

We had Mahi Mahi oreganato for dinner saturday which was pretty healthy and after having a wierd stomach issue I have sworn off McDonalds forever (or maybe just until after vacay but I seriously am addicted). 

Any goals?  Mine are at least 2 more zumba classes this week but 4x at the gym total and to STAY AWAY FROM THE FAST FOOD.

  • I was away this weekend, so I ate horribly, lol. BUT, today I joined the gym, so my goal is to go at least 1x during the week and 1x on the weekend. Hopefully more, but that seems realistic right now. Also, to continue eating healthy--I bought lots of options for healthy snacks to bring to work.

  • I take weekends off from running, but I did just over 3 miles yesterday morning.

  • I ran my first 5k in over two years this weekend, my time was just under 30 min.!!  Also my goal is to not eat out at all this week, I bought tons of "good for you" food at the grocery store.
  • I was on vacation camping last weekend (thurs-sun). Didn't do much, some biking to the bathroom and back, walking along the beach but on the last morning, I got up early and took the dog running through the campground, about a half mile along the beach in the sand, and then through the woods on the trails for about 30 min. It felt great!

    DH and I went for a 3 mile walk tonite too and I have been eating pretty decent the last couple of days since we got back. I just put Jillian in my dvd player to do level 1 of 30 day shred tomorrow morning. I will let you know if I follow through with it - I'm scared! Haven't done it in a few months and I know how hard it is!!

  • I've still been eating really healthy and drinking my water, but my work out regime has totally fallen off due to back issues...

    The good news is I got weighed last week for an insurance policy physical and I'm down 4 lbs.  Only 4 to go!

  • I'm late, but I just wanted to add that DH and I joined a gym yesterday.  I got up and went this morning at 5:30 for some cardio.  I prefer to get it done first thing in the morning because I will find every excuse in the book after work. 

    My long term goal is to lose 15 lbs.  My short term goal is to hit the gym 4 days/week and jog on the trail on the weekends.
