How long from standing unsupported to walking?

in Babies: 9 - 12 Months

DD can cruise well and is able to stand on her own for 30-ish seconds before falling on her butt. She can also walk if you hold one of her hands.

Any idea how long we have until she starts toddling on her own? It's scary--I'm not ready for her to be this mobile yet!

    my son crawled at 8 months and walked along side things at 9 months and this week started walking.  I hate it hate it hate it -he falls down so much more and cries and sometimes he even falls back on his head.. i can't wait until he's more stable.

    Jackson just started taking steps this past weekend. He's been standing unassisted for maybe a month to a month and half.

    She started standing unsupported 2 weeks ago and then she took her first steps this past Friday.

    It was crazy to see everything so fast!
