Bitten at daycare

I got a call this morning from the daycare director to let me know another baby bit Evan. She said Evan was fine, it didn't break the skin, let me know what they were doing about it, and that Evan cried for 15 minutes, but was in good spirits after that.

I think they handled it really well, and I know that these things happen. Heck, I could get a call in 5 months telling me Evan bit a kid, so I didn't get upset. It just made me kinda sad. And he has 2 little bruises where the teeth were.

My little guy had a tough day.

Dx: PCOS and short luteal phase
18 cycles (3 with our RE) - Metformin + Clomid + HCG booster did the trick!

    poor little fella!  How old was the kid who bit him?  Is he in a room with older kids?

    The other kid was 10 months old. They try to keep the walkers and non-walkers in separate rooms, but there are some times when they are together. The age maximum in his room is 18 months. There are about 4-5 kids who are all around 10 - 16 months and then Evan (who is almost 6) and then a 8 week old. I'm sure it is hard for staffing purposes and he does really well with the older babies. I just felt bad because since he doesn't crawl or walk he didn't even have a chance to get away.

    Poor baby =(   My kid is the "biter" in class and I always feel terrible when he gets a report sent home that he bit someone. Every morning when we drive to school, we discuss how he isn't going to bite his friends, and that seems to help at his age (2.5 yrs)....but there isn't much else that can be done at that age (10 months).
