Refusing the bottle

After switching between bottle & breast with no problems for a month, Gavin has decided that he doesn't like the bottle.  He refused it twice today.

I hope this isn't going to be a problem...  Tongue Tied

    Is he refusing it from you or someone else? Babies know that momma has the real thing- smart little babes!

    The first time, my mom was trying to feed him a bottle while I was there (we were at lunch).  We do that several times per week, but for some reason today he decided he didn't want it.  I thought it might be because I was there, but then tonight he refused to take a bottle from DH and I wasn't even home at the time.  I had to come home to feed him because DH couldn't calm him down. Sad

    I'm going to keep trying and I guess try a different type of bottle.  I have no idea what the problem is...

    K did that too.  It only lasted 2 or 3 days.  I was super stressed out about it.  I bpught a couple different bottles but she got over it on her own.  I hope it is the same for G.

    Wow welcome to my world....G took the bottle/breast with no problem from 1 month -2 months, than all of a sudden at 2 months old she wanted NOTHING to do with the bottle (we were using Avent at the time) so for one month DH and I kept trying and switching bottles and finally she now takes the playtex drop ins with no problem...Not a fun battle, but for me it lasted a month....GL
