gdiapers leaving red marks?

I am using Med size gdiapers and DS is right in the middle for weight for that size, yet he keeps getting red marks (evem scabs) on his hips. What am I doing wrong?!?!

    I think I remember reading something about it's because of where the snap is located. ?It only happens on the medium size. ?Some moms sew little cloth pieces over the snap. ?I didn't do anything since they didn't seem to bother DS much.

    I'm not sure if that's what you are talking about. ?I haven't used them in a while and I don't quite remember where the snaps are located.

    some moms put flannel over the tabs, some it doesn't seem to bother...

    hmmm, maybe I will try loosening them up a bit, if that doesnt work I will try to put something over the snaps and over lapping velcro. The weird part is it only happens in the front by his hips so I think it might be the velcro thats doing it, it doesnt seem to bother him, but I dont want him running around with scabs on his hips! LOL
