Doing it backwards
So on August 20th, the love of my life finally proposed to me in Manteo, NC on the Outer Banks. We are one of those strange couples that started TTC before we were even engaged -- since we knew it would be tough w/all my health issues.
Funny, most people start on theknot.com and then graduate to thebump. I'm going in reverse! But might I say, theknot is one awesomely helpful site!

Thank you! I think we're doing a fall wedding in Oct. 2011. Plenty of planning time. But now I feel torn with TTC because in one respect I'm thinking about (and trying on) beautiful, mermaid-style gowns, and then I'm thinking "what if God smiles on me and actually grants me a BFP between now and then??" Either way I'll be happy, of course. Returning a dress is a small price to pay, right?

It's been a long journey. TTC since 9/06. multiple IUI's and IVF's and 4 m/c's. IVF#3 = BFP, twins, induced at 34w6d due to baby b passing away (no explanation). Delivered on 35w1d, Baby A - baby girl, and Baby B - baby boy, our little angel.

October is nice. That was my first choice, we went with February when my sister picked October. Mine was first, but no way could I do it in 4 months. She went with the next Oct. She had a nice fall outdoor wedding.
I think you would make a beautiful pregnant bride! I am sure you would glow, now a mermaid dress may not work out though.
