I am bad at intros. And this is more of a reintro.
DH and I have been TTC #1 since April of last year. I had a CP last December and a MMC in July, which I am still waiting on AF to reappear. I finally stopped spotting last week. When we got pregnant this past June, it was sort of our Hail Mary cycle before we moved on to medication and IUI's.
We do not intend on trying at all this "cycle" or whatever you want to call it post MC. My RE said I have to wait this out and then one more cycle. I know I need to ask her why, yada, yada, but just wondering if any of you ladies cheated and tried on a TTA cycle?
I doubt I would get pregnant, anyway. I needed the progesterone supplements last time and I am moving on to Clomid before December I think because I can't do this for another year and a half. I'm already 33 and I feel like every cycle counts.
So, long story short, anyone start to TTC after their first AF post miscarriage?
Re: S'up. And a "TTA" question.
The most common answer you'll get on this board is to listen to your doctor. Your body may need the time to "recover" before TTC again.
We were told to wait one cycle, and we did. I cannot imagine the guilt I would have felt if we didn't wait, we got a BFP, and something happened to that baby, too.
Good luck. I hope this TTA cycle goes quickly.
We cheated once (on CD17 if you want to look at my chart) and we haven't been using condoms at all since I O'd, so if FF got it wrong we cheated a lot. We were supposed to wait 3 cycles and this is the first one after my D&C.
I figured I probably wouldn't get pregnant, and despite what my OB, (who I admit knows more than me) said, there are conflicting studies and opinions on whether it matters if you start TTC right away after a miscarriage, and some doctors say it's totally fine.

Ditto this. I really don't want to wait either, but we are.
