Curling up the tongue

The lactation consultant at the hospital helped me realize my three week old daughter has started curling up her tongue when she tries to latch.  Needless to say this isn't working well.  She has me supplementing with a bottle to try to teach her to keep her tongue down but it has been nearly a week and we are still having the same problem.  Did this happen to anyone else?  What did you do to help?  I'm SOOO close to giving up on all of this.
