AF is back with a vengeance

AF arrived last night for the first time since my d&c.  It wasn't that bad last night but today has been awful.  I am bleeding through super tampons in 3 hours.  I know this may be normal for some people, but I have never had heavy periods like this.  I'm curious to see how this goes the rest of the week.  Even though it sucks, I am just glad she's back.  I never in a million years would have thought I would be so excited to get my period!!!

    My doctor told me to use pads after both MC's for the first cycle. I think tampons can cause infection but i'm not sure. Hope her stay is short.

    Yikes!  I was told no sex or tampons for 2 weeks after the d&c.  But, I can certainly go without tampons if it will be safer.  Thanks for the heads up!

    Yeah, I was told no tampons for 3 weeks, but I read a lot that you shouldn't use them for your first period.  I also didn't bc I wanted to see how much I was bleeding and I think pads are easier to tell.  I know the rule of thumb is if you bleed through a pad an hour, you call, but it doesn't sound like your flow is that bad.  Hopefully this is your only heavy cycle.  GL.
