Tell me about your shower...

because I'm bored and nosey! Smile

 Are you having one at all? Is it scheduled yet? Do you know any details?

 I'm just curious what other ladies have goin' on. I don't think I'll be having a shower, so I would love to live vicariously through you all!

    My mom and sisters are planning mine. All I know is that it will be December 1. They're keeping everything else  suprise. : )

    Three of my friends and my mom are throwing one huge shower for me.  All I know is the date (Nov 6) and the location.  The rest is all hush hush, my one best friend is heading the whole planning and is waiting till we have the u/s to start really planning so she can make it gender specific. She is designing the invites and decorations all on her own. Smile

    One of my friends mentioned throwing a couples shower for friends only but making it more of a party. That's all I've heard so far though.

    My mom and sisters are throwing it. It will be my one and only shower unless I have one at work. It will be at my moms house. Guest list is about 60-70 people, although several are not local and I do not expect them to make the trip.

    My mom informed me this past weekend that they are looking at October 23rd, and which would put me about 33 weeks.

    Mine is going to be held Sunday November 14th (the same day as my bridal shower the year before as my friend pointed out... she's like rain man) - my friends will be planning it.

     It is going to be at: https://angelosandvincis.com/ - I had previously thrown another shower here and loved it!

    My sisters are throwing my shower in San Antonio, Texas.  Which means I have to fly out there.  So I have no details.  Except it's October 23rd.  We are having it early since I have to fly home for the occasion.

    Eight different friends asked about throwing a shower but so far none have come together. That's okay, really, since this is our second but a different gender. I'm a little surprised but there is still time since our girl won't be here until December. We have everything we need so I won't be upset, but I like to plan parties so it's nice to fantasize...

    My MIL, SIL and sister are throwing me one and the date it set. Everybody has been running details by me, I haven't asked them too but I'm getting a choice in everything from location to invites and centerpieces. It's actually been a lot of fun and I'm looking forward to it.

    My sister asked me if she could host my shower the day after I told her I was pregnant. I haven't heard a thing about it from her. (She hasn't been that reliable the past couple years.) Anyways, so today my cousin asks about it and I told her I haven't heard anything. I did give my suggestion for it to be in November. She's going to talk to my sister about it.

    My aunt, grandmother and mother are throwing our shower. On  October 24th, I know what colors they are using (pink and purple) and that the invitations are hand-made (my mom and aunt love scrapbooking and making cards). Other than that I dont know anything else and its kinda making me a lil antsie hehe :)

    Ill try and get a picture of the invites they are too cute (a card shaped like a onsie)

    My mom is planning a shower for our side of the family and my friends, (DH and I both have Large families), in mid November, has some of the details but would like to wait til next week when we find out the gender to do the rest of the planning.  My MIL hasn't mentioned anything to me and has been mean to me ever since she found out that we weren't baptizing our LO so the one from my mom is likely to be the only one which is fine.

    Im having a hard time with my shower planning. We can not seem to find a decent place to hold both of our large families. It will be on Nov. 14 to avoid the holidays.

    My shower is this weekend (Labor day) even though I'm not due until December 13th because my closest girlfriends live out of town and this is the best chance for everyone to get together before the fall/holidays. My best friend is throwing it and its a Candyland inspired shower. It was just a candy theme and she's so darn creative she took the whole Candyland idea and ran with it. Oh and its at Pappadeauxs restaurant. So excited!
