You know the whole discussion about 3 year-olds having tantrums? And I said I was lucky that Hannah never really had real tantrums anymore? Remember that?
SO regretting saying that. She has been crying for 2 days over NOTHING. Today I was helping her pick out which new pajamas to wear, and I accidentally bumped her bedside table. Her Hello Kitty alarm clock fell off of the table and landed softly in the doll stroller sitting right there. She lost it. You'd have thought the thing had shattered into 100 pieces.
Oy. I sure hope this isn't something that sticks around!
Re: I knew it. I totally jinxed myself.
omg. I am right there with you sister. I tried my best not to speak the words outloud, but when everyone said 3 is so much worse I thought we had escaped it. but no.
so far by 9 this morning we had taken away
1.wii privelages for 25 hours (for not picking out underwear and throwing a fit over it!)
2. no puzzles for the day (for not picking up her books and throwing a fit)
3. no super why of any kind (toys or tv)
by 11:30 tv was banned, I can't remember why at the moment.
and there was a total fit at her first day of dance because she hates her tap shoes. it's 1/2 tap, 1/2 ballet. ballet was ok, but when one girl cried she started to cry and I had to sit in there with her. that's ok, it was the first day.
but when the tap shoes came out she went limp. she would not stand up, pulled the noodle trick even when the teacher picked her up. she will not put her feet down in those damn shoes.
she's been up stomping around in her room since about 1:30 when nap time started. I'm not going up there until she naps. Matt and I think she was not being good previously, just saving up her awfulness so it could all come out at once.
