pap smear while ttc, ok?

Sorry if this is a stupid question. But is it ok if I get an annual exam and pap done 4 days after ovulation? We are going to start ttc this month, but OB doesn't have any appt until 9/13 and based on lmp I will o around 9/9. I pretty sure this is a silly question, but I'm not sure why they always do a urine pregnancy test at the annual exams? Does anyone kno? Thanks!

    The only time I've ever done a HPT at a dr is after I got a home +HPT, or before giving me medicine/proceedure that can't be done while PG.  So, maybe it's just standard protocol at your dr's office to do this.

    A pap won't hurt the process of TTC (or even PG, assuming that there is not an underlying issue). Sex probably does more damage to your lady bits than a pap.

    When I got my first BFP I went to my OB for my first initial visit and it turns out I was overdue for my annual pap and my OB did it there even though I was KU so it is safe, if you have more concerns adress them with your dr when you go in.

    Thanks I just needed the reassurance! Here goes...I'm so nervous but excited. And its also bittersweet bc edd is coming up on 9/9.
