Girls - Piranha54's (Lisa) father lost his battle with lung cancer this past Saturday. Just thought I'd let you know, as we share ups AND downs on this board.

Strange thing is that Lisa and Puckchick (Tara) met randomly at a story time at the local library here in Cleveland. They recognized each other's siggy pics! How weird is that? Lisa and Tara started meeting regularly for story time and all 3 of us have met for drinks several times. Shortly after we all met for the 1st time, Tara lost her dad to lung cancer.

You can't tell me that we aren't *meant* to cross paths with certain people in our lives...

Anyway....keep Lisa in your thoughts & prayers...(and Tara too!)

Oh no! My thoughts are with both Tara and Lisa. I lost my dad suddenly when I was about 25, it's so hard.

Awww...sweet Liz. I'm am so glad I met you guys! And, definitely at a point when I needed new friends in my life.

I'm keeping Lisa and her family in my thoughts and sweet little Ellie who, like Fiona, is missing a beloved grandfather.

I'll definitely keep the family in my prayers. I know how hard it is to lose a loved one to such a horrible disease. I lost my mother to lung cancer almost 9 years ago.
