I KNOW I KNOW.

They added "Diapering" because it doesn't detract from the overall very long long list like TTCAL +6 clearly would and because it served to bring in ad space and income from Pampers who planned to use the board for give-aways. Then the DIAPERING board became overrun with cloth diaper people (both supporters and fanatics) who bashed on Pampers, especially because of the Dry Max fiasco. Then nobody wanted the give-aways, so boom. Split the board.

And since it's at the top and not the bottom, it clearly doesn't cause the same level of confusion as women who can't get ktfu 6 months or more after a miscarriage. Either that or there's no sense in hiding diapers, because everybody sh!ts, but we all like to pretend that only a select group of reproductive losers miscarries.

(And to be clear, by "We all" I mean "the Bump" rather than actually me, as I've been crowned Queen of the Worst Nightmares by less reproductively-challenged Bumpies - who clearly don't know how common my experience is).

And yes. There *might* be a germ of bitterness in my response, but darned if I could find it.

That board is getting TRASHED! I didn't know about the whole diaper thing since I don't have kids but it sounded pretty serious.

Oh yes, I forgot to say "You should go over there, I'll bet it'll be fun."

Thanks guys. I'd love to be your queen. I hate that they've added all of these boards (Snarky and TTC? The what? Connect with Pampers? Whuck? Try this one on for size: the short-lived Oh No You Didn't board) and my lades get relegated to an off-crashing miniboard shoved at the top of TTCAL. It's like the small room for the really bad cases at the leper colony or something.

What'Evs. One day, when I'm Bump Goddess and I rule the world, I'll make it change. I'll start with those idiotic pregnancy ads in the side-bar and replace them with martini ads.

Seriously, the Diapering board was a trainwreck that me, little old unemployed loser of multiple miscarriages, could see a mile away. I can just imagine the backpeddling and stammering in the meeting where the Bump was explaining to Pampers why the CD discussions took over. Any idiot who spends 5 seconds on here could have predicted that.

So now Pampers gets it's board. It's like a corporate version of a GBCB where the poster keeps starting threads...just gasoline on the fire.

I think it's funny.
