My OB sucks (long vent)

My cramps (which I feel like I've talked a lot about here! Very severe, screaming pain, everyday for a month, etc) have been getting worse. I was going to call my GP or go to the ER, so I called my OB one more time to make sure they didn't see anything on my u/s that could cause the pain. The u/s tech said it looked normal, but I thought I'd check with the dr too.
I called yesterday at 9:30am saying that I'm in severe pain and needs my u/s results so I can go to a GP or ER. Meantime, I decide to make an appt with my GP anyway (that was a whole mess in itself, I told them three times that I'm pregnant, 4th time the give me a disgusted look and tell me they don't see OB patients... didn't say that when I scheduled. Luckily the nurse practitioner was very nice and ran a urine test to see if they could find anything. Possible UTI, but all tests aren't back yet).
I finally get a call back at 4:30 pm from my OB asking if this was about my first u/s or second. I only had one. This is when they told me that the baby was small and they wanted me to go back for a followup. Wtf? They never called to tell me that. I had the test on the 18th, and was supposed to follow up 10 days later. Had I not called them, I wouldn't have known until my next appt on Sept 9.
I'm so pissed. There was concern that my baby wasn't developing right, and they never even called me, I assume they didn't even look at my file when they got it on the 18th. I'm going to my appt on the 9th, but I think I'll tell them that they seem too busy for another patient and I'll go somewhere else.
Good news is that I got in for the second u/s this morning and we saw a hb! DH couldn't be there on such short notice, so I got him some pics

Wow, that would have really piissed me off as well. That is something that needs to be shared with you right away because they usually do a follow up ultrasound.

This. But I'm glad you got to see a heartbeat. BTW..you don't need to tell them any sort of reason why you are going elsewhere..I would be requesting my records asap and finding another OB.
